What is Sun Valley Hills?
Actually, Sun Valley "Hills" really doesn't exist as a legal entity. This term is used by real estate agents in the area to distinguish this area as seen below, as the foothills of Sun Valley. However, we are a part of Sun Valley and are therefore part of LA County. (Quite frankly, sunvalley.org was taken.) Years and years ago this area tried to be annexed by Burbank, but it didn't happen. Here is basically the area that is referred to as Sun Valley Hills by realtors...(go here for a larger view) It was easier for us to deal with this area only because the way CERT is divided. This area is in Battalion 12, whereas south of Glenoaks, Sun Valley is in Battalion 14.
